Lighting is a large part of any electrical installation, with many types of lighting available it is easy to get lost in just what it all means. Joelec Ltd are able to lend a helping hand in the design, supply and install of lighting solutions tailored to our customers specification.
We are able to design lighting circuits to create ambiance in dining rooms, or bright white light in the bathroom. We can supply and install lighting fixtures subject to your requirements, or alternatively install lighting fittings sourced by you.
Lighting comes in many forms, halogen, LED, metal halide, incandescent, fluorescent to name just a few. Each type has its own pros and cons and limitations regarding switching, dimming and running costs. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require advice.
Switching is also a large part of lighting, some lighting systems are suitable for dimming, some require additional components such as transformers or drivers, some are suitable for standard switching and others are suitable for 'smart' compatibility such as linking up to mobile phones and other devices. There are a wide range of options available such as leading edge or trailing edge dimmer switches.
