We check that the existing installation is safe and the relevent safety devices and equipment are installed prior to you purchasing the house. With an EICR costing around £200 for the average UK house, Joelec have innovated a visual check of your potential new house for less than half the price!
At the end of the check you will receive a report based on our findings. We may also indicate an estimated cost to remedy any existing issues with the property, placing you as a buyer in a strong position to negotiate a fair price for the property.
It is important to remember to consult with the current occupiers of the property prior to arranging a new buyer safety check as if the current occupier refuses us entry to the property to conduct our checks, you will still be liable for the cost of the check.
